are EMI going back and copy-protecting older cd's without a warning?
Today I picked up an oldie-but-goodie from my cassette owning days (Private Dancer by Tina Turner) that was on sale, and I was going to rip it to my comp (I don't steal, but I do rip all of my cd's to my comp for listening purposes) and my computer would not read the CD.... then I exchanged it and the second copy won't read either... has EMI decided to copy-protect a 22 year old title, without making note on the copies (this is the 1997 remastered edition with bonus tracks).
What the hell is up with this? should I boycott EMI?
