I have a multiroom system with a 501 and a 301, I noticed that when you switch to the guide, it is 10 times faster on the 501 versus the 301. The 301 almost always spends up to 1 minute to "retrieving information from the satellite" versus the almost instant retrieval via the 501. Now isn't the bandwidth the same for both receivers (the difference in RG6 length has got to be negliable)?? Does the 501 have a faster processor and should the warning be more like "processing slower than your 501" 
or is it really retrieving information while the 501 is speeding away? I believe the 501 has a 350Mhz processor in it, not sure if it's the same in the 301, but is the processor speed the reason the 301 is so slow to convert or is it really the processor speed and not the bandwidth?
