I am interested in a DVD-Ram compatible player.

Can anyone please list available inexpensive models?

    Thanks,

    Bob

Only one I know of right off is the Panasonic RP91, which retails for $700 but is available for $300 and less online. Check out crutchfield.

The September issue of Sound & Vision reports the upcoming JVC XV-NA77SL DVD player ($230 SRP) will playback all of the DVD recordable formats.. specifically including DVD-RAM. It will have progressive scan & DVD Audio playback as well.

The only thing it's missing is SACD!

Newer Toshiba models also will read DVD-RAM discs.
