DVD Player's Bass Management (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm looking for any DVD players that allow for adjustment of the LFE channel. There's a thread in the Receiver/Amp forum discussing the inability of the HK AVR-520 or basically, any of the HK receivers to adjust the LFE level. Now, if we can do this in the DVD player, the problem may be mitigated. I'm only concerned with DVD/CD, not SACD or DVD-Audio, however that would be icing on the cake.

Can anyone help?

The adjustment of LFE channel basically lies with the
Receiver and not DVD or even CD players. DVD/CD players
are only the source towards the input of the Receiver which
should be the one which is managing all the audio output
including the LFE channel either for music or movies.

All current A/V receivers should come with a LFE output
for connections to a subwoofer which is the .1 LFE channel.
One can configure the output for all 5 channels + the LFE
from the receiver. Perhaps a thorough read up of the
operation manual of the receiver is recommended. Hopes this
helps.
