DVD Picture Frozen!!!!!! (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I just returned an LG progressive scan dvd player b/c the pic would freeze. Now I have a Toshiba with exactly the same problem. When it does, it renders the remote (o manual buttons) inoperable. Diagnosis? Solution? Thanks!!!!

Could it be your display?

Do you have another "cheepie" DVD player around to hook up to your TV to check.

Was the LG a new player?

Has your TV ever "frozen" before?

This should probably moved to the Displays area.

How are you hooking up your DVD to the TV?

Are you playing a burned DVD? Not all players can handle them properly. Picture freezing is one of the symptoms.
