Is there a place where I can simply download Service Pack 2 so I can stick it on a CD? I'm going to bring it to my brother this weekend, he is without an internet connection and I need to update his XP Home for him.

    Thanks
    ADAM

I just had a relative order the service pack 2 CD from microsoft. They use a phone line for their internet access. I can not imagine doing that major an update using the phone line. It was painful enough for me using a broadband connection. Only problem is that the web site says it can take up to 6 weeks for the CD to arrive.

Also, the SP2 CD can be copied and distributed freely. So if your favourite hangout only has a store copy left, bring a blank CD and burn a copy.
