Do the new DLP HDTV unit need to have convergence?

    Do the new DLP HDTV unit need to have convergence like my HDTV Toshiba TW40X81 (RPTV)? Thanks.

    No. 3-chip DLP displays can have convergence problems, but are not usually addressable. 1-chip do not, unless it is lens effects which results in essentially chromatic 'misconvergence.'
