DIY Sub Help (1 Viewer)

I want to build my own sub. This is what i'm looking at so far. A 12" Shiva driver, an AVA250 Sub amp and a Vented Sub Kit which includes a 3" or 4" flared port, grille, 6' wire, 8 driver mounting screws, 8 grille mounting screws and 4 tie wraps. All parts from Adire Audio. Aside from building a cabinet and a power cord what other hardware will I need?

What size port do I use? What size should the cabinet be?

How do you go about tuning a sub? Maybe I should just take the dimensions of the Adire Dharman sub and try to copy it.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
