What surprises me very much is that there were only 3 or so Mickey shorts made after 1953...

The WB crew talk about this on the Golden Collection DVDs, since they had little competition since Disney started focusing on feature-length films instead of shorts, they went unoposed.

Definitely getting Donald, Mickey and Front Lines.

I believe those three sets of shorts were shown in theaters, but Tomorrow Land was shown on television. Is this correct?

I'm most excited about Front Lines! I want see the propaganda films, and I will be getting Tommorowland because I'm a completist.

I've been waiting to see this entire film forever! And I've also been waiting forever to see Disney's first tv show "One Hour in Wonderland" that will be on the new Alice in Wonderland disc.

I believe you can watch this film streamed on Waltopia.com however it will be nice to have it on DVD.
