I have the elliptical DirecTV dish.
Currently the MultiSwitch is outside on the dish, it has 2 cables going to each LNB.
I have 2 Cables going from the dish to my wiring closet in the house.
My question is, does the multiswitch NEED both cables to each LNB? Can I move the Multi Switch into my wiring closet and then just connect up 1 wire to Each LNB?
The thing is i need to feed 3 Receivers and i dont really want to try to pull a 3rd wire from the dish to the receiver.
Thanks for your help :)

You have to have two cables from each LNB. It's because of the whole, left hand/right hand polarization of the satellite frequencies and the different voltages that are sent to the LNB's. Anything less and you don't get all of your channels.
