Shoot the Moon is one of those films I'd LOVE to see again. I saw it theatrically and once or twice on videotape. There is one scene in the film which feels implausible and out of place, and I had a problem with what I consider a "lady and the tiger" ending
upon initial viewing -- however, this movie just lingers with me.

I have Angel Heart on DVD and I thought I had Birdy, but it turns out I don't. I'm almost positive I have a WS VHS of Come See the Paradise here somewhere.

Apart from having ANGEL HEART (1987) and THE COMMITMENTS (1991) still unwatched on VHS(!), sad to say, I've missed out on several of Parker's films through the years: both FAME (1980) and SHOOT THE MOON (1982), for instance, are continually aired on TCM UK - and yet I've never gotten round to watching them...:frowning:

At one time, Midnight Express, The Wall, Birdy and Angel Heart were all among my favorites. Now I see him as rather inconsistent. Still love The Wall, but mainly because I'm a Pink Floyd nut.
