Di-pole to Bi-pole (1 Viewer)

I am going to complete my new HT/Family Room with a 6.1 system. The single rear center speaker is a Di-pole speaker. I want it to fire Bi-pole. Is it as simple as removing one of the mid's and switching the leads around??

All of the rear drivers should be in-phase with the front. I see no reason why it would not be that simple.
