denon avr-1803 vs harman kardon avr-325 (1 Viewer)

I'm comparing these two receivers, which I could get refurbished with full manufacturer's warranty for $324 and $387 respectively.

Denon $324
80wpc? @ 8ohms

Now, both these manufacturers seem to be rating their amps with all channels driven from what I can tell...so what do you all think - which is the better deal?

Well I was looking at the same Denon your talking about now and the HK225 and I liked the HK225 better, some more features too...

The HK 325 IMO is superior to the 1803. It has much better power supplies and I like the sound better. I think the 325 is more of a comparison with the 2803 so that tells you how much better I think the 325 is than the 1803

thanks...I'm starting to like some of the features of the 325 better myself...like the ezset, individual channel crossover settings, heavier weight...

I'll probably end up buying the 325 next week...with a 5 year extended warranty (I'm so glad there's a local authorized repair shop for HK, in case something goes wrong)...

I would take the Harman Hardon avr-325 over Denon 1803 or the 1804. HK just sounds better.
