Denon 900 vs. 910 vs. Philips Q50 DVD players (1 Viewer)

I'm considering buying one of these players(all have Faroudja) for my X1 projector, and have read reviews on them, but I'm still confused. Does anyone own any of these, or compared the picture quality? Also, when an image is said to be "soft" what does that mean? Thanks for any opinions.

The Q50 is a great player but buggy...id probably skip the other two mentioned as well.

Both Denons suck.

If you want to see a soft picture, go buy the 900 and make sure you can return it. Then you'll understand

The 910 is not really much better. Just because a player has Faroudja does not mean it is good.
