Couldn't wait for a review to find out the internals of my new Denon 4806. Here's what I saw.

    1. Huge Toroidal Transformer, size not indicated on casing
    2. 5 caps around the toroid varying in size(2x12,000uf/35v, 1x47,000uf(voltage ??), 1x18,000uf/16v, 1x15,000uf(voltage ??)
    3. 2x18,000uf/71v at the back off the unit
    4. 2x68,000uf/10v, 2x39,000 18v caps on either side off #3

    Here's the pics:

The Denon 4800 series is nice stuff indeed,

My 4802 looks very much the same if not identical.
