OK, here is the deal.

If a CD is playing, and is also the selected source in the primary zone, the 2nd zone will play constantly even though the 2nd zone is off.

I am running the 2nd zone to an old Adcom amp I have, from the 2nd zone preouts of the 3802.

Everything works fine, except that if a CD is playing in the main zone, it always plays thru the 2nd zone. Only way yo shut it off is to power down the amp.

Any Ideas?

You need to set up the 3802 to a variable volume on the 2nd zone outputs. Then you use the remote (put it in multi mode) to turn the volume on the 2nd zone all the way down. This is the only way to make the 2nd zone not play.
