Mr. Staddon is obviously a very busy man and I thoroughly appreciated his contribution to the forum. Oddly, though, he said he wasn't familiar with THE INNOCENTS, although there have been dozens of threads and posts about it in the past. Fox, if you are reading this, please go through the current post-chat thread

and you will see many posts that mention this title in the hopes that you will recognize how much demand there is for it among us. Thanks you again!

addition: sorry for the typos in the header... might an admin. correct this?

I can't understand why this wasn't released when The Others came out. It would have been a perfect complement.

I hope Fox soon realizes what a gem they have in their vault, a gem that quite a few people would buy greedily on DVD.

I wasnt able to make it, but would like to thank Mr Staddon and FOX for the time he took and the generally great discs they release, (and are planning on releasing.)

Just got my LOST IN SPACE box.

And VANISHING POINT......great film, great transfer.

also would like to say that after watching ALIEN3, im convinced that the expanded version elevates that film to CLASSIC or near -classic status alongside ALIEN. IT REALLY IS THAT GOOD!

Yes I too was puzzled over Peter Staddon's apparent lack of awareness of 'The Innocents'. I hope he will check it out very soon. It's a classic film, and there's certainly a lot of interest in it coming to DVD. It could even be a suitable candidate for licensing to Criterion if Fox don't want to do it themselves - after all, Criterion have always taken an interest in classics British movies from that era.
