"Deals Page" always resets "Show Topics From" to "Last Day" (1 Viewer)

I usually browse the boards with the setting "Show Topics from last 2 days". However, if I go to the Deals Page, and then use the "Forum Jump" dropdown on that page to jump to another HTF forum, my setting has been changed to "Show Topics from last day". This happens to the first forum I visit after "Deals Page" and then stays that way until I manually change it. This also happens if I browse using "Show Topics from last 5 days".

Not sure it's relevant, but I am using IE6 on Win2K Professional.
