Dark Spot on Screen (1 Viewer)

I have a Toshiba 42" 42HDX82 RPT. I have noticed for some time now a small black dot on our screen, about the size of a BB. When I shine a flashlight on the spot, it looks like there is a hole burned on the screen or something. What can cause this? is there a relatively inexpensive way to fix this?

I have had an ISF technician calibrate my machine. At the same time, he removed the outer screen to reduce glare.

It could be just dust on the back of the screen. When I bought Toshiba HDTV 65" few years ago it has a similar problem. I called for a service call and the technician remove the front screen, then he cleaned it and the problem was fix.
