    According to Eonline.

    http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,15285,00.html

Scroll to the bottom of the page:

"And for those who can't get enough of Sinise and company, fans will soon be able to buy the entire first season when Paramount issues CSI: NY on DVD next summer."

The first season is going to be 23 episodes.

Talk about a fast turnaround time!

Hopefully this will set a standard of premiere to dvd releases!

DVDAnswers are now quoting a 25th October release for CSI:NY

My concern is could this adversely affect the original CSI (Las Vegas) as this is the one I really want.
Last year we got CSI in September and CSI: Miami in January.

I would guess Paramount would be unlikely to want them all together as it would hurt sales ? Also there is supposed to be the CSI Season 1 reissue around then as well.

CSI:NY in October sounds reasonable as Momentum who have rights in the UK have a flyer in the CSI Season 4 Part 2 DVD (only just released here and still in half season sets ! but does include a bonus DVD of first episode of CSI:NY) saying UK release is also October. Looks like they are trying to push the new series, as previous UK releases have been months after R1 and as much more expensive half season sets.

Does anyone have any more info on this re-issue? Will the episodes be done in 16x9 as the rest of the sets? And is it really happening? Haven't heard much about it...

    cheers, Michael [IMG]
