Anyone else in Canada getting a "One or more items in your cast can not ship to that address"? This is the first time I've had the issue. Is B&N no longer shipping out of the states?

A lot of Internationals reporting various issues including the "Can't Be Shipped To this Address" The latter seems to be related to specific titles and not the entire order.so it may be a bit of hit.miss -- start with one title and build it one at a time.

A few that are causing issues.
Princess Bride
Sisters
The Four Fethers
The Makioka Sisters
Charade

Since the newer titles are more popular -- these seem to be working for most
Bergman Box,
Some like it Hot
Magnificent Ambersons
Story From Chikamatsu
True Stories

Thanks for the heads up. I'll give it another try. If I can't get most of what I want, I'll just leave it for the next Criterion flash sale.

Major Amazon fail on Princess Bride Criterion BD. When I pre-ordered it said it would be here by Friday. Now it says Wednesday. However I checked and Amazon has it for guaranteed same day if I order $35 of same day qualifying items. Luckily I did have some things I wanted. Canceled my much-delayed original order and re-placed the order with guaranteed same day. We'll see if they deliver today.

Several of the international posters in other forums have said this Address Issue may be fixed now. Several of the troublesome items that were kicking orders out as "Unable to ship to your address" were able to be ordered without issue yesterday

'Heaven Can Wait' is waiting for me at my local B&N, I'll pick it up today. I was going to do the same thing (in-store pickup) for 'Some Like It Hot' next week but, in fact, Amazon had it priced at $19.59 last week (now sitting at $22.97) so I won't even need to leave the house for that one.

That is all this sale. I would get 'The Princess Bride' but I purchased the 4K Dolby Vision digital copy through iTunes and it is fabulous. A standard Blu-ray copy would just sit on the shelf and never get viewed. HDR for the win!

It appears from BN and Criterion.com that Some Like It Hot may be delayed until 11/20. My BN preorder got a delayed shipment email today. I guess it liked the company of that day with MagAmb, 2001, Bergman all coming out then.

My Amazon order of SLIH is supposed to be released on the 13th, but arrive on the 19th.

Don’t know if that is connected to BN pushing its own date back or not

Edit: just checked Criterion site, and they pushed their date to the 20th.

Here's hoping Criterion is one of the other labels that got StudioCanal titles that the Kino rep mentioned. Would love some of their former SC licensed DVDs to get US Blu-ray releases.

All the Godard titles they lost come to mind.

...especially the Contempt Blu-ray we were supposed to get back in 2008.

So what is the deal with this? Did Lionsgate's deal with Canal lapse except for the old Carolco catalog (which they own home video rights to in perpetuity)?
