Good one John (why didn't I think of that one?)

Also realized I completely forgot about the film I was going to take next. Hope Agee doesn't grab it before it gets back to me.

I know exactly how you feel Brook. I have a good idea what my next two selections are going to be, and I'm really debating...

a) Which one should I pick first?
b) Which of them, if not both, is more likely to be picked by someone else?
c) Of the two, which am I more comfortable potentially "losing" to someone else?

If the current lists stay on track, these votes are going to be extremely difficult, as there have been a number of great choices so far.

- Walter.

My next pick is my favorite film of all time, which also has some gorgeous and hypnotic cinematography:

REQUIEM FOR A DREAM- Matthew Libatique

I'm going to pick the movie that first made me notice cinematography.

Tucker: The Man and His Dream Vittorio Storaro

And if you haven't seen it in the original 2.40:1 AR, then you haven't seen the movie I'm talking about. :p)

Rain, very nice pick!

I'll take The Sacrifice - Sven Nykvist

Coincidentally, The Sacrifice is the first film that made ME sit up and take notice of cinematography. :)

No it wasn't safe Agee, but it was Walter that took it. Then Justin grabbed another off my list. Better get this one before Justin takes it too:

Suspiria - Luciano Tovoli

 Justin didn't get Suspiria. You let that one wait far too long.

Body Snatchers - Bojan Bazelli

Yes, the moment I saw Walter's pick I figured that was the one you were talking about (it would have been my next pick, too). :frowning:

Duel in the Sun (Lee Garmes, Harold Rosson, Ray Rennahan)

I'll take that as a 'Nice pick' :)

FWIW, I've lost a few choices as well. ( I hope my next two make it through unscathed. )

- Walter.
