Great news. Love both the book and the John Carpenter film and I'm looking forward to the new film.

My only complaint about the Carpenter version is that it can't be long enough to really adapt the fairly long book. I look forward to what they'll do with the new one but I wish it was a mini-series so they had more time and could be more faithful to the book.
