Hey everyone:

I like a price check on the JBL studio series and the Sony WM-40. I went to a vendor in the Pacific Mall in Scarborough area yesterday and got a quote from the owner.

S312 pair: $880 cdn

S310 pair: $699 cdn

S38 pair: $499 cdn

S-Center Single: $299 cdn

and a Sony WM-40: $270 cdn

So what do you think about the price compared to yours?

Also, what's the difference between generation II and the I's?

I work at a store where we sell the WM40.

298 is the reg price, but we often sell it for less than 270, 250 doesn't sound unattainable.

that's CAN, plus tax.

Anyone knows their JBL Studio speakers price range here at North?

I'm not certain about the Studio Series prices, but I do know a couple of good stores in downtown Toronto for JBL/HK products.
Try: Update TV at 222 Spadina (just south of Dundas, in Chinatown Centre), and National Sound (on Queen between Bathurst and Spadina (closer to Bathurst I believe).
You might be able to get a competitive quote.
