I have a extra 150 watt channel on my marantz mm9000 amp with a level control. Is it possible to wire both bass shakers in to it with the level turned down? Each shaker can only handle 25 watts so I don't want to blow them up.

thanks for any advise,

Frank

Sure,

Wire them in series(+ of the 1st to - of the second) use the unconnected + and - leads to connect to your amp. This will increase the impedance to 8 ohms total and will be much easier on your amp. Try this and adjust the level to the desired amount. Just DO NOT wire them in parallel(+ to +,- to -, and +/- overall to the amp. This will drop your impedance to 2 ohms and will almost surely drive your amp hot and eventially to a busted channel.
