I got a new RPTV and was wondering how to calibrate it. I have heard of professionals doing it for a lot of money. I am going to buy a calibration DVD, any suggestions?, but on the new Star Wars Episode II there is a calibration thing. I did it but that feature on the SW dvd does it do a good job?

    Greetings

What the optimode provides you with is the filter for your oil change.

Changing only an oil filter is better than nothing when it comes to the operation of your TV.

Ideally, optimode was never designed to replace the test discs. The optimode is only applicable to the program that it came with. Using different optimodes from different DVD's may yield different results.

Professional Calibrations are your full tune ups ... as with cars ... there is a difference between oil changes and tune ups.

    Regards
