“MOONLIGHTING” DEBUTS AT DIGITAL RETAILERS

BELOVED EMMY AWARD WINNING SERIES STARRING

FOR THE FIRST TIME ON DIGITAL JANUARY 16

For the very first time, all five seasons of “Moonlighting” will be available at digital retailers, complete with the original Grammy-nominated title track recording by Al Jarreau. Each classic episode has been remastered in HD from the original film source.

Fans can add the complete series to their digital collection on January 16 when “Moonlighting” becomes available to buy from all major digital retailers including Prime Video, Apple TV, and Vudu.

Synopsis
When former fashion model Maddie Hayes goes broke and finds that one of her few remaining assets is ownership of the Blue Moon Detective Agency, she’s tempted to liquidate it until she meets the quirky employees and gets involved in their even quirkier cases.

Great news. Watched a couple on Hulu, but the commercials ruined it and stopped watching.

Will pick it up if priced fairly. More of these classic series should be available for purchase in HD Digital such as this show, Cheers, Andy Griffith, etc. But there still many other classic series that while available on BD, somehow are only available in SD digital. That makes no sense.

I just checked Vudu and the show is not cheap. Season one is $9.99 (only 8 episodes), but the remaining seasons are $24.99 each. Ouch!

Apple didn't seem to have it at first, but season 4 is there now.

However, what I said above about me buying if it was priced fairly.... at $135 + tax for the series, they won't be having many buyers.
