budget dvd players, pioneer toshiba still tops? (1 Viewer)

Been away from the site for a while, and my friends wife asked me which dvd player too buy for him? The last i remember the pioneer dv343 was near the top of the list. Ive been too busy to research anything so I'm hoping you guys can fill me in? This is canadian dollars also. Also i saw a samsung dvd at safeway for $199 can which was regular $299, I cant remember the model, should she jump on this deal or pass on the samsung for a pioneer or toshiba. thx again.

Panasonic RV 31 and its 5 disc carousel version the CV-51 are good values. I have a CV-51 and have viewed a few DVD's and have 0 complaints.
