THAT could be a good deal...begging the question what is Border's regular price on the title...

I cannot imagine the KK 2-disc got over-produced. Ya think?!

I know there seems to be a glut of 1-discers everywhere you go. But I actually thought the 2-disc was not the easiest find.

Really? When I looked on their website yesterday it was something like "List Price: $30.99; Borders Price $22.99."

Either way, a pretty solid deal.

I wasn't wild about this one, but there is this intense draw in me to get it...just because of the price AND it's a two-disc set.

My local Border's price was 30.99 not 22.99, the price was 15.49 plus tax, just about the same as Costco's deal.

Does anyone know if the King Kong Production Diaries are going to be repackaged and sold for a lower price (ever)? I want this, but I'd rather pay $10+, not $20+.

I thought it was great. Every possible permutation of what else could have happened during the old black and white film was brought to the screen. If the new Kong had faults, it was the fault of the original Kong. After all there's only so much you can do with a "land on an island, woman gets stolen, men go after her and get chucked off a log, ape opens on Broadway." They took that thin story and added everything they could into it.

So on Friday I stopped at Borders on the way home from work to check this out, and it wasn't there anymore!!!

The store, that is!
