It is appearing like the price of the BD titles in this promotion will be $24.99. My local TRU had a whopping 3 titles in stock (they hadn't received their allotment by this afternoon), and the titles were all $24.99. I hope to snag Ratatouille and Cars if they ever do show up at my local TRU. I hope I get to use this $5 coupon for Disney BDs as well, but I suspect it might be a YMMV sort of thing depending on who you get as a checkout clerk:

Happy Blu Year

My local had all the titles, plus it was giving away a Jungle Book bongo for every Disney title. I was sort of regretting not going for the Amazon deal on the Pixar films a couple months back, but this serves as another reminder that such deals are rarely once-in-a-lifetime.

Did anyone else have the clerk ask if I wanted to pay $3/disc for disc replacement warranty (in the event the disc gets scratched and become unplayable, and also supposedly allows you to trade the disc in at a later date if you don't want it and just trade it in for another disc/title)?

Nope, but mine might have been too distracted at the prospect of unloading an overstock of bongos.

What was up with the bongos? I sort of remember seeing them in the store, but didn't pay too much attention to them as I was in a hurry to get home.

40th anniversary promo for Jungle Book. Not sure when the original promotion was, but they apparently have lots of 'em left over.

Is there *ANY* way to get a solid list of what's available (and prices)? I'd like to see more of the selection before making the trip. :P Their website is completely useless for determining what titles (and prices) they carry.

Thanks...

The ad linked to in the first post shows them all. My store was also $24.99 each.

I can't decide if I want to get Bridge to Terabithia along with PotC3 because I'm not sure if I could watch Bridge to Terabithia again and not be just as affected as I was when I saw it at the theaters last year. PotC3 would just be the completist in me since we got PotC1 and 2 at EMA last summer.

I know what you mean, but I haven't seen either of them so the decision is a little easier. It also helps I didn't think much of #2, so that solves the internal debate. :)

Oh, I see. Thanks. For some reason, I thought someone mentioned (or implied) there were more than just what are shown in that ad. Maybe I should go get Casino Royale + PotC 3, if they would take my $10 Disney coupon for PotC 3 -- and then just hock it off somewhere since I already bought that recently. :P Of course, I guess I could also make my daughter real happy and get High School Musical 2 (yuck! :P) instead -- well, at least it's widescreen, instead of 4x3. :rolleyes:And there's also Cars I suppose, which I never bought in SD...

Picked up the 3 Pirates, Cars, Rat and Meet the Robinson (I needed something for the freebie) for $70 after tax, using 2 of the $5 off Disney Blu-ray coupons here. Next step: buy a player. :)

Also, for anyone buying Cars (if you're upgrading from the SD, like me), there's a $10 mail-in rebate here, if you don't mind taking one of the POPs off the back cover.
