The PSX game Ghost in the Shell had what is hands down the greatest opening animation ever.

Well, if you ever played System Shock, the opening to SS2 was pretty freaky.
"In 2167, an Artifical Intelligence known as Shodan, lost her mind...."
Good stuff.
Wing Commander, of course, is the king of game cinema. Wish they'd re-release WC3 on DVD.
