Best Satellite multiswitch?

    I'm looking for a good satellite multiswitch for my new DirecTV service, but I'm not really sure which ones are good or bad. I'd like to get a decent one with at least 4 outputs, preferably 8 outputs, and has HDTV capability.

    The TERK brand seems to be popular, but I don't have much to go on. Any suggestions?

    I can't answer this b/c my oval 3 lnb dish has a 4 output multi-switch built in. So I'll make two suggestions:

    1. Get an 18x20 3 lnb dish, you'll need it when you switch to HD in the future.

    OR

    2. Ask this question on AVSFORUM.com. Those guys an pretty anti-Terk (for good reason).

    Channel Vision or Spaun are much better brands. Terk is generally considered junk. That's my 2 cents based on old experience prior to HDTV (have cable now) and what Ive read online.

    check over at tivocommunity.com as well. i know they had a faq on multi-switches, but i couldn't find it....
