BenQ has unveiled the TK810, the company’s first 4K UHD wireless smart projector designed for brightly lit environments. The new beamer – which appears to use the same stylish chassis as the HT3550 and TK850 – is rated at 3,200 lumens, can achieve 92% of Rec.709 color space, and includes several built-in smart features.
The TK810 also takes advantage of 4K HDR streaming content via the Aptoide TV app for accessing Netflix, YouTube, Twitch and video gaming services. Movies and TV shows can be streamed via Wi-Fi on iOS, Android, Mac, and Chrome browsers. Smart accessibility features include BenQ’s Smart Control app and voice assistant for navigation and control of the projector from a mobile device, or by speaking directly to the assistant. The new projector sports a 4K RGBW color wheel along with CinemaMaster Video+ frame interpolation.
