I'm looking for TV episodes that center around baseball. I know Deep Space Nine had several eps and I remember a Next Generation and a Sequest DSV ep as well. It doesn't have to be science fiction (actually it would help if the suggestions weren't sci-fi shows) so if you can help me out I'd appreciate it.

Of course many episodes of Seinfeld deal with baseball in some manner since George worked for "the Boss." One episode in particular starred Danny Tartabul as himself and the opening monologue was about baseball.

This is a good question. Let's compile a list.

One of my favorites is a 3rd season Simpsons episode, "Homer at the Bat," featuring the the voices of 9 real-life MLBers, including Roger Clemens, Ken Griffey Jr, Mike Scioscia, and Don Mattingly.

Are you looking for shows that have already aired?

There's the Seinfeld episode when George knocks over Bette Midler sliding into homeplate to win the game.

There have been a few Cheers episodes revolving around softball (not to mention the fact that Sam "Mayday" Malone was a relief pitcher for the Red Sox)

There's the Brady Bunch episode where Greg speaks to Don drysdale before pitching a big game.

Just a few off the top of my head. Hope this helps

Yea I'm mostly looking for stuff that's already aired but if it's going to hit the small screen in the near future, that's game as well.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, it's really helpful.

Besides the Brady Bunch episode that guest starred Don Drysdale of the Dodgers and I remember a Munsters episode where Herman tried out for Leo Durocer (also the Dodgers). There's the Seinfeld episode with Keith Hernandez (Mets) and the classic Simpsons episode guest starring Ken Griffey Jr., Ozzie Smith, Darrel Strawberry, Don Mattingly, Mike Soscia, etc.

Steven Bochco, at the time famous only for Hill Street
Blues, now also famous for L.A. Law, N.Y.P.D. Blue and
others, created a series about a fictional baseball
team. The series was called 'Bay City Blues'.

The series aired for less than one full season before
it was canceled.

There was the Bad News Bears tv show starring Jack Warden and Corey Feldman.

There's an episode of Two Guys and a Girl where Pete and Berg form an (almost) all-girls softball team.

Several episodes of Married...with Children deal with baseball in some form or another. Either the family is playing softball or there was 1 that took place during the MLB strike. I love that 1 when everyone chants "birdy birdy birdy," and Al says: "That's Bundy."

I love "Homer at the Bat," my favorite Simpsons episode, and there is also 1 where Mark McGwire guest stars.
