Balanced vs. Unbalanced interconnects (1 Viewer)

Is there any advantage to using balanced compared to unbalanced interconnects between pre/pro and power amplifier when using only 1 meter length cables?

if you haven't bought cables, i'd pick up a pair of balanced from some place like markertek. if you've got a decent, non-defective, set of RCA's I can't see why you'd hear a difference unless you've got some most peculiar interference problems. of course you could always make a pair if you wanted to.
