B&K Ref 30 firmware upgrades (1 Viewer)

Anyone know how I can convince B&K to let me do it myslef? The thought of an underpaid, and little trained tech putting his grubby little hands in my pride and joy makes me cringe. In an increasingly middle-of-the-road service world, I've learned that the only way to get it done well is to do it yourself.

Call them up and ask for tech support. Ask for them to send you the firmware upgrade.
It takes maybe 3-5 minutes -- IIRC my settings were lost which would point to the NVRAM which stores system configuration being on the firmware card.
