Why did every episode of The Brady Bunch's second season run :30-1:00 shorter than the third season?

Possibly because ABC moved it back a half hour from 8:00 PM to 7:30 PM, and then back to 8:00 PM when the FCC took 7:30 away from the networks. Networks used to do their prime time news breaks at 8:58 PM, and they were a minute long.
