Sony has introduced the SRS-RA5000 ($699.99) and SRS-RA3000 ($299.99) wireless speakers which promise to offer “premium, at-home listening experiences.” Both include Sony’s spatial sound technologies, capable of creating “room-filling” and immersive sound. Sony also says that 360 Reality Audio content can be streamed from Amazon Music HD on the new speakers using Alexa Cast from April 6th. Owners in the US and Canada will be able to stream “object-based” audio if they have subscribed to Amazon Music HD, with its 70 million tracks in High Definition (HD), five million songs in Ultra HD, and catalogue of 3D Audio (including 360 Reality Audio content).
