Anyone use GAME mode on 47" Panasonic? (1 Viewer)

It is my understanding that the "Game" mode on the 47" Panasonic 16:9 TV turns off the internal line doubler. If this is the case, wouldn't normal NTSC shows that have alot of deinterlacing artifacts look better if shown interlaced? Like ordinary DirecTV or digital cable. I haven't taken delivery of mine yet or I would just try it.. :) Has anyone done this and what are the results?

Hi Dylan, I have the new 51" 4:3 Panny set with the same Game mode option. The builtin line doubler works great on most of my Dish Network programming, but sometimes if there's a really bad station I'll flip it to Game mode to make it watchable. I've rarely had to do this :) I haven't calibrated mine yet with VE, but after dropping the brightness from 100 down to 30 and tweaking the colors a little bit from the main menus it looks gorgeous. I think you're going to really enjoy the set. :emoji_thumbsup:
