Has anyone tried those 2.4GHz wireless video distribution systems (rather than running cables)? I assume that the quality of the signal will degrade, but how much?
I had a Wavecom Sr. by RF Link and used it daily for more than a year. For the most part, it worked exceptionally well, but I could tell when the neighbors fired up their microwave ovens and when we added a 2.4GHz phone to the house, it would completely knock out reception when the phone was in use. Didn't have WiFi in the house at the time, so I don't know what affect that might have.
In short, when it works, it works great, but the 2.4GHz frequency is terribly crowded these days.
