I've been searching for some discrete codes for my Panasonic TX32-PK20 TV to turn it ON and OFF separately rather than the On/Off Toggle.
I've found the equivelent codes for my Panasonic VCR so I'm fairly sure Panasonic will have included them on the TV also.
An email to Panasonic UK got the reply:-

Mark if those codes aren't on RC then they likely don't exist. There are tools that can generate a list of IR codes for yor device but be forewarned that some of these codes may do things that you'd rather they didn't. There have been a few cases of people trying random codes only to find out that they reset the internal settings of the machine or do this or that...its really a crap shoot what will happen. If you really need discrete on off codes and you can't find one then maybe look at plugging the TV into a powerbar that has a timed outlet on it. Some people use these for powering up amps after the pre amp powers on but they should work equally well for a TV. Another sol'n would be to use an X10 applience modual and use the IR543 to turn it on or off.

It may be worth your while to get a cheap ($20-$30) OFA Cinema 7 remote. You can easily try all 255 possible codes for your device. Once you find it you can teach it to your Pronto. Also, this site http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/discrete.shtml has tons of info. I was able to get discrete on and off for my previous 56" Panasonic HDTV. You can try these codes. They might work.
    Power on:
