I have a problem. My new Philips 34PW850H locks the screen mode (IE 4:3, widescren etc..) to widescreen for any 480p or 1080i source.
This is fine for 1080i but I play XBOX games that run in 480p and not all of them have a widescreen mode. For the games that are not 16:9 I have to either deal with the obvious wrong aspect ratio or set the XBOX to 480i for worse picture (although the philips does a nice job upconverting those dandy 480i images).
This is an oversight in my opinion by Philips and will probably lead to my return...
Does any one no how I can get in the service mode and change this? Hard to find info on Philips...
