Any cheap plans for building speaker stands? (1 Viewer)

I am going to college next year and rather than buy expensive speaker stands... I was wondering if anybody has any plans for cheap wooden (or otherwise) speaker stands for my rear speakers (as I want to be able to move them out of the way). Being easy to build is always a plus too

I don't know what you consider cheap but for $15-20 you can buy them at Best Buy and similar stores. It's fun to do DIY projects but for $15 you may want to avoid an hour or two of work and just buy them

I'm making some currently with some scrap MDF and some 4" PVC Drain pipe ... I'll post the pics when I'm finished ... I think most will find them very nice ... The cool thing is you can fill them with sand for stability ...
