found it in my yard.
we usually dont see beetles this big around here.

looks pretty menacing but he runs away when you put your finger near it.

it does make a scary screeching sound that is alittle spooky.

I think it's a hissing beetle. I tried to find out more about it, but a search for "hissing beetle" on Google yielded 99% info on the hissing cockroaches from Madagascar, which this isn't.
