I apologize in advance if you already know all this, but just in case...

I just got Beal in this set: See on Amazon and it's fantastic! It's also Region Free (despite what Amazon says).

I was blessed to snag a copy from DiabolikDVD.com for $92, but if I had to, I'd still grab it for the $120 Amazon is asking.

And I totally understand $92 still isn't cheap. Myself, it was just stimulus check + quarantine + really needing something to watch.

Again, apologies if this is nothing new, and best wishes on getting this on disc!

FYI I have the Australian boxset with this. The print used for the master is a totally unrestored, fairly rough (scratches, frame jitter) affair which was printed far too darkly back when. It's frankly a lousy master and if I were scoring it I would give it a 2 against the same Paramount set's new master of Detective Story which is a 4 and 1/2.. Don't bust a gut as they say.
