Advice on Progressive DVD/DVD-A/SACD Megachangers? (1 Viewer)

I'm hoping that I'm wrong, but it looks like Kenwood Sovereign and Sony make the only decent progressive scan megachangers. However, but have issues which prevent me from buying.

Anyone have any info on players which might be coming out in the next year in this category?

As far as I know no changers of any kind have been mentioned which offer dvd-a and SACD.

You need to know a little more

The Kenwood 5900 does in fact have DVD-A playback capability.

As for why Sony left off SACD capability in their latest progressive scan changer, I have no clue.

John Holbrook, there are no universal changers (DVD-Audio and SACD) on the market yet. As far as I know, no universal changers were announced at CES a couple of weeks ago. :frowning:

As John Kotches said, the Kenwood DV-5900M plays DVD-Audio discs. It's supposed a good player. What are your issues with it (besides it not playing SACDs)?
