OK ... I ran some sweeps and max output tests on the Maestro... and also ran a sweep of the STF-1 ... at two meters outdoors, it was +/- 2 dB from 34 to 100 Hz, and down 6 dB at 30 Hz.

Room gain will help, of course...

Thanks craig. I have talked it over with dr hsu and ascend and I will be safer in that bedroom with the stf-2 and 170's. From all reports and the reviews it looks like an excellent choice. I cant wait to get this together and will post my thoughts on the setup.
