Is Sharp a reliable brand? I need a new vcr. Nothing to fancy, just a HiFi vcr to record and play my daily shows. I can get one for $60.

I didn't know they were making VCR's anymore lol.

Sharp is an OK brand - nothing fancy and better then most that you can buy at your local pharmacy.

IF you're are just looking for something to fill the hole in your entertainment center andnot something that will be the focal point of your movie watching, yes - a sharp is a good thing.

I would even look in the want add's or ebay for VCR's.
