sung to the tune of “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me”
I can’t see, all the Oompa-Loompas
Charlie Bucket, fades in and out of sight
I’m growing dizzy, the camera weaves before me
Now it’s frozen, on just half of Grandpa’s face
It’s not too late, to reverse this abomination
Please take a chance, and change your DVD;
But you’ll misread, our meanings that we send you
You’ll snap the case, and remain blinded to our plight
(chorus)
Don’t pan and scan my Wonka DVD
I’m not just one lone voice, all of HTF agrees
You can’t allow Joe Six Pack’s narrow vision, to run free
‘cause watching P & S, is like a man going down on me.

I was thinking more along the lines of
We're not gonna take it!
No! We ain't gonna take it!
We're not gonna take it,
Anymore!

Umm I guess this song would make sense, except that the new disc is Full Frame, not Pan and Scan.
"I can’t see, all the Oompa-Loompas
Charlie Bucket, fades in and out of sight
I’m growing dizzy, the camera weaves before me
Now it’s frozen, on just half of Grandpa’s face"
This might be true if the film was shot in 2.35:1 ratio, but alas it is only 1.85:1 OAR where there would not be too much scanning going on in the first place even if they did not do a full frame release.
Nice attempt, but your song is just as flawed as the release Warner will be putting out
