Lionsgate continues its Vestron Video Collector's Series with the four films in the Wishmaster series (1997-2002), the final three of which were direct to video.

There a many fans of the original, which was a theatrical release, while that fan base may have dwindled for the remainder.

Still, and especially for fans of the 1997 original, Lionsgate has given the new Blu-ray their requisite quality, and attention to extras.

The four films would have easily fit on two BD-50s, but Lionsgate, presumably because of the plethora of material related to the first film, has created a three-disc / four-film set, which allows full quality.

Image and audio is more than fine for all four films, with the audio at different tech specs for each film. While they're all presented in DTS-HD MA for this release, the original Wishmaster is 5.1, 2 is 5.0, 3 is 2.0, and the final installment is 5.1

A top quality, value-priced ($39 street) proposition for fans, which once again, makes all aware of the quality that Lionsgate works toward for all their releases, be they Vestron or their latest theatrical fare.
